Why This Trip
Does your student love challenging themselves in new and engaging ways? Do they love taking part in hands-on learning experiences as a beginner or seasoned rock climber? If so, this trip is made for them. By signing up, your student will get to take part in our Fall Break Climbing Trip with a team of Williamsburg Learning students and mentors—developing their rock climbing skills, refining their technique and movement, and much more.
For this adventure, students will meet in St. George, known for world-class rock climbing. They’ll be guided by Williamsburg mentors with extensive rock-climbing experience. In addition to learning about beginner rock climbing, students will get to learn and practice belaying (lock-offs, transfers, and pick offs), rope management, bouldering, anchor building, lead climbing, and multi-pitch climbing. Meals, lodging, equipment, and travel during the week are all provided.
If your student wants to advance their rock climbing skills, spend time with other Williamsburg students and immerse themselves in a week of fun and personal growth, don’t miss this chance to save them a seat for our 2019 Fall Break Climbing Trip.
