Early-Bird Special: Save your seat for $350 if you sign up by August 1, 2019. Price increases to $500 on August 2.
Why This Trip
Is your student a natural performer? Do they love expressing themselves on stage and finding creative new ways to interpret the classics? If so, this trip is made for them. By signing up, your student will get to take part in the 43rd annual Utah Shakespeare Competition with a team of Williamsburg Learning students and mentors—developing their skills, attending plays, and much more.
For this adventure, students will meet in Cedar City two days before the competition to plan and rehearse their chosen performance. They’ll be guided by Andy and Jenelle Young, two much-loved Williamsburg mentors with extensive live-theater experience. Besides performing in the competition, students will get to attend workshops in acting, dance, and theater tech, and attend professional plays by Southern Utah University. Students will stay at Henley Manor, a Shakespeare-themed lodge in Cedar City, for the entire week. Meals, lodging, play tickets, travel during the week, costumes, and props are all provided.
If your student wants to advance their theater skills, spend time with other Williamsburg students and immerse themselves in a week of fun and personal growth, don’t miss this chance to save them a seat for our 2019 Shakespeare Trip.
