Why This Class

Now more than ever, the Internet plays an integral role in the things people do every day. As your student grows up using the web, you want to help them develop the tech-savvy to establish their presence online. This course helps by equipping your student with the skills to create web pages.

Students in this self-paced course learn how to write and edit code in HTML and CSS to create basic web pages for whatever purpose they choose. Along the way, students discover how HTML provides the structure of a web page while CSS makes it presentable, interactive, and fun. Students also learn how to code responsive pages that work on screens of all sizes and use Javascript to create a comment form for visitors on their site.

By completing this course, students gain awareness of the elements that make up basic web pages and the added features that make some sites stand out. Their hands-on experience with creating pages gives them new confidence in presenting their ideas online.
