AP U.S. Government & Politics

Why This Class

AP U.S. Government and Politics is a semester-long, college-level course designed to prepare students for the Advanced Placement (AP) U.S. Government and Politics exam. The goal of this course is to explore and analyze important concepts of U.S. government and politics.

By the end of this course, students will better understand the U.S. Constitution and political system, and demonstrate their understanding through written work, project-based activities, and practice exams.

Where do political perspectives come from, and what things impact our political beliefs most?
